We love Dana Seng's style because she mixes the dainty jewelry with another worldly flair that is like none other. She has a strong love for yellow gold and mixing gemstones with diamonds in style. You can see the history in this 2nd generation jeweler's work. Her pieces are timeless but fun. We first discovered her on instagram but as we got to know her we wanted to know more. So we bring you a Gem Hunt interview with our favorite gold lover.
Where do you get your design inspiration form?
Ever since I was little, I loved to design various things. For example, I liked to design my own accessories from clay. One thing about me is that I love and adore fashion. I like to picture creative designs in my head and turn them into actual things. Designing jewelry today gives me great satisfaction.
What is the most popular seller in your line?
Our most popular sellers are from our Eternity Collection. These new pieces are designed for women out there who like dainty jewelry pieces. Jewelry that I design can be worn as a stay-in everyday jewelry and these delicate pieces last for generations. They show a sense of fashion and elegance. The Eternity Collection’s pieces, including diamond rings and bangles, are crafted with white, pink, or yellow gold. The vintage style of some of the rings is classic and feminine, lending the pieces the ability to go from casual to formal settings with ease.
Why do you love yellow gold?
I grew up in the era of yellow gold. Back then, yellow gold was very popular. I remember my seeing my great grandmother wearing accessories full of 24K yellow gold and inspired my special interest in yellow gold.
Do you think the dainty jewelry trend will continue?
I personally believe that dainty jewelry will continue because it is so versatile for everyday wear.
Why do you love jewelry?
To be honest, jewelry makes me feel relax and happy. I think that almost every woman out there feel the same way. The reason why I love jewelry is because to me, jewelry is like a treasure that lasts from one generation to another.
